Super car shoot...

Saturday i shot something  little different, over £1,000,000 worth of cars. Had very limited time to shoot them, roughly 5 mins per car. Shot them all with one strobe them merged all the images together. Each image consists of more than 3 images. After a lengthy amount of time in post i ended up with these. A few examples of the Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo and Porsche Turbo 996.

Jon Franks Photoshoot...

Last tuesday i shot a BBC and MTV presenter. We worked together in order to produce some promo shots for him and add a little more variety to my portfolio. It was another short notice deal, only having two days to sort out locations, clothing and ideas. Considering everything was planned by myself in the tight time frame given everything ran super smooth. Jon is one of the most professional fun people i've ever worked with and the shoot ran like clock work.

Went for a very simple lighting set-up on most of the shots as they had to look more natural than some of my previous work. I mainly used a softbox with a Canon 580 exII shooting on about full power. Went through a lot of batteries!

All in all the shoot couldn't really have gone any better and i'm really happy with the end results. Here is a few example of how it turned out....

Last Saturdays Shoot...

Last Saturday i shot some ad images for  Jewellery company. I was all very last minute and a little bit rushed, but turned out well. The client and director sorted most arrangements out and i basically had to turn up think of a few shots in 10 mins then shoot like crazy.

It's the first time i've shot with my Canon 70-200mm L in a while and i forgot how good it is. Shooting on the more shallow depth of fields really helps punch the subject from busy backgrounds such as these trees.

Shoot turned out better than i thought and had some fun in the process. Here's a few images...
